Masha's Accordion

Rolando Sepulveda

Masha’s accordion, given to her from her brother, sits in front of her apartment window. Though she doesn’t know how to professionally play, she sometimes plays music from Russia, her home country. While on voice rest after her throat injury, Masha would call her family and play to them, sometimes using the accordion as a way to say “yes” or “no” while talking.
